SALTWATER FLY FISHING FESTIVAL NON COMPETITOR SCHEDULE
The Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival will take place from the 3rd – 6th September 2020, based from the Orvis Chichester store. Alongside the competition, Orvis will be running a series of ‘Non Competitor’ talks, demos and events for those not competing in the Festival. These will take place at the Orvis Chichester store as a meeting point and will be suited to all abilities. From beginners sessions focusing on the ‘Learn how to Fly Fishing 101’ and casting demos to intermediate talks for more experienced anglers on ‘Coastal Fly Fishing in the Highlands’, there will be sessions to interest everyone.

Saturday 5th September
10am - Saltwater Fly Fishing Equipment made easy - James Doyle, Orvis and Michael Rescorle, BASS
11am - Learn How to Fly Fish 101 - Orvis Chichester Fishing Associates
12pm - Casting Demo and clinic
2pm - 50/50 On the Water Presentation and What You Need To Get Started
3pm - The Value of Angling to Aquatic Conservation Around The World with Richard Banbury
4-5pm Presentation on the truly 'wild' coastal fly fishing in the Northwest Highlands, followed by a fly tying demonstration of a few Assynt Fly Fishing Pollock flies, featuring the 'AFF Weed-guard' by Stewart Yates, Assynt Fly Fishing and Orvis Endorsed Guide.
