How do I purchase a gift card or email gift card?
There are a number of ways you can purchase these cards.

How do I redeem a gift card or email gift card?
Redeeming a Gift Card on Orvis.co.uk
Redeeming a gift card or email gift card is an easy, three-step process:
Step 1:Continue through the basket checkout process until you get to the "Payment Information" screen. This screen has a section called "Pay with Orvis Gift Card."
Step 2: To expand the "Pay with Orvis Gift Card" section, click on the "[+]" sign to the left. Expanding this section enables you to enter your gift card number.
Step 3: After entering your card number and PIN, click on the "Redeem" button. If you have more than one gift card, simply enter the other card numbers and PINs, clicking on "Redeem" for each one.
Redeeming a Gift Card at your Orvis Retail Store
Simply bring the gift card, or a printout of your email gift card, to your local Orvis Retail Store.
Redeeming your Gift Card by Telephone
Inform your Orvis Telephone Sales Representative that you would like to use your Gift Card or Email Gift Card as payment for your order. You will be asked for the card number and issue date or PIN.
Where is the card number or PIN number?
For gift cards, you’ll find both the card number and PIN on the back of your Orvis Gift Card. The 8-digit PIN is next to the card number; there is a scratch off panel over the PIN. You will need to carefully scratch off this coating to see the PIN.
For cards that do not have the PIN on the back of the card, the PIN can be found on the receipt you would have received with the gift card. The PIN on this will be 4 digits. To use this card for payment, add 0000 before the PIN to turn it into an 8-digit PIN.

The card number is in the Email Gift Card number field in the section on the right.
The PIN is in the CSV field in the lower left corner.
How long for Gift Card/Email Gift Card delivery?
Gift card delivery depends on the delivery method you select:
Standard Delivery: 7 days
Next-Day Delivery: 1 business day (if ordered before 12 Noon)
For email gift cards, you’ll receive delivery on the next business day if you place your order between 8:30 am and 5 pm GMT.
How do I check the balance of my gift card?
You can check your balance online, call 0333 400 4188 to obtain your current balance, or use our convenient live chat to ask one of our customer service experts.
Is delivery free on gift cards?
Gift cards receive free standard delivery. The regular delivery charges apply to gift cards ordered with express or next business day delivery. All regular and special delivery charges apply to the merchandise purchased with a gift card.
Do gift cards or email gift cards expire?
There is no expiration date for Orvis Gift Cards or Email Gift Cards. They remain activated until redeemed for their original purchase value.
When is a gift card activated?
Orvis Gift Cards are ready to use upon receipt—there's no separate activation process involved. Once you receive your gift card, you can use it immediately at an Orvis Retail Store or by placing your order by phone.
Will I receive confirmation when I send a card?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email when you purchase an Orvis Email Gift Card, but you will not receive a "confirmation of receipt" email when your recipient receives an Orvis Email Gift Card. Please contact Orvis Customer Service by live chat, email, or phone for further enquiry.
Can I add to the balance of a gift card?
No. Gift cards are issued for the original purchase amount. Additional balance amounts cannot be added to the card. Should you want a gift card for an additional amount, you'll need to order a new Orvis Gift Card.
Are gift cards offered with different designs?
Yes. In the UK we currently offer green or fishtail designs. You can select your design with any gift card amount we offer.
What happens if I delete the email with the card?
Contact Orvis Customer Service by by live chat, email, or phone. Please provide the recipient's email address with your enquiry.
Can I redeem the balance on my gift card for cash?
Orvis does not refund gift cards for cash.
Can a lost gift card be replaced?
No. Each gift card states that there is a "no replacement" policy for lost or stolen gift cards. Please contact Orvis Customer Service by live chat, email, or phone.
The maximum that you can purchase on a gift card is £2,000. The maximum for an email gift card is £200. To order a larger amount via an email gift card, please contact Customer Services on 0333 400 4177.
Is there a daily limit on gift card purchases?
You are limited to a total purchase amount of gift cards up to £2,000 within a 24-hour period.
